About Page 2 BOOKS | Second Hand Books in the Seattle Area

Page 2 BOOKS was founded in 1989 as a used paperback book exchange (read a letter from the original owners here). Current owners, Karen and Gayle, took over the store in the spring of 2002. Since then the stock of used paperbacks has grown to over 35,000, new shelves have been installed and many new services have been added.
This is not your traditional bookstore where books are stacked high and crowd the floors and aisles. We focus on providing you with a clean and orderly environment and quality books. Approximately 90% of our store is popular fiction paperback, with the other 10% being special interest non-fiction.
We offer a wide variety of special services to our customers. We also provide support to our community through donations, sponsorships and participation. You can receive discounts on your purchases by bringing books in for store credit.
We maintain a warehouse of unusual, rare and/or hard-to-find books which are also available by request or special order.
Please refer to the tabs on this page for more information, or call 206-248-7248 or contact us with your questions or requests. We are delighted to hear from you.
Independent bookstores are special places. With your support, Page 2 BOOKS will continue to be a vibrant place to find the books you love, the neighbors who will become your friends and the children who will learn to love to read.
Thanks for being here with us!
Gayle and Karen
