Join Page 2 Books and the Burien Public Library for an evening with local author Frannie James celebrating her new book The Sylvan Hotel: A Seattle Story, out now from Hinton Publishing. Everyone's trying to get somewhere else; including Joann who is 23 and works at reception to pay her bills while she figures out her career. Witty, nostalgic, and filled with the electric hum of youth, The Sylvan Hotel is a love letter to the people and places that shape us, whether we mean to stay or not.
