What is IBD?

Independent Bookstore Day is a nationwide celebration on the last Saturday in April. It's a day to get out and show your appreciation for local indie bookstores! Many stores have exclusive offerings and discounts on IBD.

Seattle Independent Bookstore Day

In the Seattle area, 33 indie bookstores participate in the Seattle Independent Bookstore Day Passport Challenge. On April 25 grab your passport from any participating location. You have 10 days (until Tuesday, May 4) to visit every single location. If you get all 33 stamps, receive a 25% discount at each of the participating stores (expires April 23, 2027). If you visit at least 5 stores, you get a single 25% discount good at one store of your choice. You can read more about Seattle Independent Bookstore Day on their website!
